Works with your AI
Add MagicMeals to the AI app you already use, then just ask it to save recipes, build your cookbook, fill your shopping list or log what you ate.
Paste it wherever your AI app adds a custom connector or MCP server. You'll sign in to your MagicMeals account and tap Allow the first time.
A connector you add on the web also shows up in the Claude mobile apps. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add it for the organization first.
OpenAI renames these menus now and then. If you can't find them, search ChatGPT's help for "developer mode" connectors.
gemini mcp add --transport http magicmeals https://magicmeals.app/api/mcpThe Gemini app and gemini.google.com don't let you add your own connectors yet. Developers can also pass the address to the Gemini API as an MCP tool.
claude mcp add --transport http magicmeals https://magicmeals.app/api/mcpPaste links from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or any recipe site. Your AI reads the recipe and saves the ingredients, directions and a credit to the creator.
Free for 25 recipes, the shopping list and your food diary. Unlimited recipes and AI imports, meal planning, deeper nutrition tracking, exports and family cookbook sharing are $9 a month, with a 7-day free trial. The same limits apply when you use MagicMeals from an AI app.
No account? Add https://magicmeals.app/api/mcp/public instead to search public recipes and family cookbooks without signing in.
Not yet on its own. An AI app can only use MagicMeals after you add it once as a connector with the address https://magicmeals.app/api/mcp. It takes about a minute, and after that you can just say "save this to MagicMeals" in any chat.
Yes, to save recipes, use your shopping list or log food, so the AI saves to your own cookbook. A free account works. Without one, you can add https://magicmeals.app/api/mcp/public to search public recipes and family cookbooks.
Connecting is free. Your MagicMeals plan's limits still apply: the free plan holds 25 recipes, and the paid plan is unlimited. Saving a link through your AI app doesn't use your AI link lookups, because your AI app reads the recipe itself. Your AI app's own plan and limits apply on its side.
Your AI app never sees your password. You sign in on magicmeals.app and choose Allow. A connected app can read and add to your recipes, list and diary, but can't delete anything or make a recipe public. You can disconnect it any time in Account.
Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT with developer mode, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and any other app that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in.
